Are the masks washable?
Yes, they are fully machine or hand washable. Use hot water for best sanitizing.
Are the PPE filters washable?
Yes, the PPE filters should be hand washed
How do I insert the nose bridge wire?
You will notice a line of stitching on the top of the mask that goes over the nose. One side is not stitched down. The nose bridge wire goes between the lining and front of the mask and is inserted into that channel.
How do the sizes run?
Mens = large
Ladies = medium
Teen = small
Kids 7 -12
Kids 3 - 6
You can speical order XL if your head is very large, but for the average person these sizes run true.
How long does it take to ship?
Generally we ship in one to two days. If we do not have the fabric you want on hand, it is going to take a little longer, but once we receive the fabric it is one day to ship. You will receive an email confirmation of your order being fulfilled and shipped.
Is the elastic adjustable on the around the head?
Absolutely. If you notice that the bottom elastic seems tight and the top one is loose, pull gently on the bottom elastic. It goes through casings on the sides of the mask so is easy to adjust. If once it fits comfortably and still seems a bit loose, tie a knot or sew the elastic to shorten it.
Does washing it make it lose its shape?
No, the fabrics are specially chosen for the tightness of the weave and thus they retain their shape. As does the PPE filter.
Can I iron my mask?
Sure! We like a well ironed mask. However do not iron over the star or heart in the corner. It is vinyl and may melt.
Are they reversible?
Yes and no. They are shipped with what we consider the outside out. Many come with fun linings people may want to wear on the outside. First, just know you should always wear it one way for sanitary purposes. Secondly as the lining is a pocket for the PPE, the mask will stick out by your ears and not be flush to your face.
Why is the elastic around the back of the head and not around the ears?
We consulted with someone who works in the medical field and regularly wears masks. If you are going to wear the mask for an extended period of time, you will be much more comfortable with the elastic around the back of your head. And you can leave the house with it around your neck and just pull it up into place when you get out of your car. The masks that are held in place behind the ears cause a lot of pain.
Are the masks returnable?
For sanitary purposes the masks are not returnable. Should there be a defect with the product, please contact me. We will be happy to work out a solution.
